Dino Museum

Garrett got attacked, given that it was a stuffed Dino, but all the same it was very traumatizing!! Ha ha! He is soooo funny!!

Prego Belly & Weird Dreams!!!

OK so I'm at 29 weeks and I thought I would post a picture of my belly. People keep saying I'm tiny but I don't feel that way!!! Anyway my doctor says that I'm actually measuring big!!


Anyway I had my first weird baby dream last night. So in my dream I'm in bed Garrett is right next to me sleeping and I'm just looking at my belly talking to Tate and he is kicking, all of the sudden I feel him kick my right side so I put my hand there and I can feel his little fingers and his little hand then I say " Oh Hi baby you giving mommy a high 5!" and as soon as I say that his whole arm pops out of my belly and of course I'm in shock!! Before I know it my belly starts to rip, yes rip open and the rest of his cute body pops out and I'm screaming my head off trying to get Tate to breath and Garrett is fast asleep doesn't even move and I'm thinking this is not right this is not how his supposed to come out!!

That's when I wake up sweating from head to toe!! Anyone dare to analize my dream?

Birb Clothes

So I deciced I wanted to make something for my baby with my own two hands. Birb clothes sounded pretty simple and non-time consuming, was I wrong!!! Anyway after about a month here are the results. They are not perfect but they are going to have throw up on them half the time so I'm not to worried.

Cooking Class Menu

Here is the Menu for my cooking class- Orem Macey's 800N (7pm) March 5th,2009.

Cuzcuz a Paulista (not sure how to explain this dish) Lots of veggies, heart of palms, eggs, peas and more!!

Mandioca Frita- Fried Yucca/Cassava. Yucca is a starch rich plant,comes from the Euphorbiaceae plant, and it is the root of the plant that is edible. The roots are described as long with a thick brown rind that encases the edible part.
We peel it and fry it!!

Chicken Strogonoff- served over white rice and topped with fried potato sticks.

Pao De Quiejo- brazilian Cheese Bread.

Creme de Abacate- Avocado Shake- That's right in Brasil we eat avocados as a dessert and this one is simple yet so so yummy!! Milk, avocado and sugar, process it in a blender and enjoy!!

Cooking Class

So I am teaching a cooking class on Brazilian food at the Little Theater at the Orem Maceys. I'm really excited and really scared at the same time. If anyone wants to come its free! It will be on March 5th @ 7pm.
Anyone have any sugetstions on a certain dish I should teach let me know so far I've hit a wall, there are so many good dishes I dont know where to start.

We are having a Boy!!!

So we went to have our first Ultrasound today, and we are having a Boy!! We are so excited.

His name will be Tate Michael Larsen.

He is very healthy and everything is where it should be. As a matter of fact according to his measurements either I am one week further along or he is a BIG BOY!! Hopefully I'm one week further along.

We feel so happy and blessed!!!
