Mr. Tate is 9 months old!!

I can't beleive my baby is 9 months old.
He is such a blessing in our lives. I love watching him learn and grow every day.

We went for his 9 month check up and he is doing great!!

His stats:

Height= 30 1/4 inches long. 91%
Weight= 21 Lbs. 50%

I'm pretty sure all 9 month olds can do these things but for me he is a little geniouse and everything he does is awesome.

Learned to sit up all by himself.
He is crawling all over the place ( I can't keep up).
Loves to be chased he takes off and giggles.
Wants to get under the couch and our bed.
loves little forts, he has a tunnel that he loves to sit in and just play but it's getting small.
Loves to open drawers and cupards and take everything out.
Is very curiouse about the stairs (going up!) and tries to pull himself up on the first step.
Feeds himself cheerios, snack,wants to grab the spoon and be a big boy.
Wants to eat what ever mommy and daddy are eating (he's a little pig!!).
Is imitating sounds that we make, he humms and "sings".
learned to make a smaking sound with his mouth.
Laughs when people around him laughs.
Says" Mama " and "Dada".
Learned to make a funny face from daddy.
Loves bath time and has learned to splash. (loves splashing).
Learned to shake his head for "NO", does it when he doesn't want to go to sleep or he is done eating.
learned what the doggie says: "woof woof" but he says "Oof Oof"
Has a very fake cry when he wants something.
Does his "SUPER-COOL-TRICK" when he wants attention. specially in church.
Loves to "wrestle with daddy" and makes the same noise daddy does when wrestling.

There's so many more things he does, it seams that everyday he learns something new and I am truelly blessed to be able to be with him everyday. Life is great I love being a mommy and even when I put him to sleep I miss him. I absolutly have the best husband in the world! I love watching him play with our baby boy he is a wonderful daddy, life couldn't get better!!

Baby Food!

I made my own baby food this week and it was a lot easier then I thought and alot cheaper then jarred baby food. This is just the beginning I plan to make alot more, specially now that Tate is starting to eat chunky food. I'm proud of myself, it takes a little time and effort but its worth it. Tate loved it but then again that kid eats anything!!!

Here are some pics:

I made Sweet Potatoes, Acorn Squash, Spaghetti Squash and carrots.

Squashes and sweet potatoes were baked in the oven and peeled.


Carrots steam cooking.

All the veggies whipped and processed.


Then I put them in ice trays and let them freeze for about 18 hours.

I also made pasta.

So the past 3 weeks have been a little crazy alot going on!

My girlfriends took me out to dinner for my B-day. It was great I always have to much fun with these girls it was a blast we always laugh so hard! As you can tell my friend Meli is pregers Yah!! 3rd and last she is having a boy!!

We started a tradition that every new years eve ( my B-day) we spend it at my brother in law's house ( Greg). His wife Amy made me a super yummy chocolate birthday cake and of coarse they had to sing Happy Birthday!! I can't believe I'm only a few years away from 30! Yikes!!


This is at my brother in law's place, Tate absolutely loves Ian (left) and Aidan (right), they had so much fun. Cute boyz'



This is Tate's SUPER-COOL-TRICK. He does it when he wants your attention or just to show off he does it at church all the time!!


First week of 2010 and I had a very sick baby! It was just a head cold but it was the first time he had a fever, and because he has such bad eczema he broke out in hives. He just barely got over it this week.

Look at those rosy cheeks, oh and he now feeds himself when we give him treats ( cereal and yogurt melts).

He was such a good boy I would put a cold rag on his forehead to help lower his fever and he would just leave it there didn't even complain. I did make a game out of it, I would make funny noises.


Falling asleep again on the floor, (no worries he had two comforters underneath him so he wasn't cold), he was holding his teddy watching Mickey Mouse and this is how I found him, Isn't he precious!!!

Christmas 2009!

Our 1st. Christmas with our baby boy! It was awesome, so much fun! We spent Christmas Eve with Garrett's family. And went to my mom's house on Christmas day. It was a special time because it was the first time Tate saw his Grandpa (my dad) we had a falling out about 4 years ago so it was weird and good to be on talking terms again. Anyway .... it was great to see Tate open his presents he loved that he could rip the paper (he loves the noise it makes), but then he would get all excited because underneath the paper was a colorfull toy!!

Also he learned to stay sitting up, before when we would put him on the floor sitting up he would just slowly slide to his side now he stays and loves it!!

Tate's a Cutie!!

Here are some recent pics of our little guy. He got his second tooth and is rolling around everywhere!!The other day he rolled to our Christmas tree and almost tipped it over!Stinker!!
Still drooling alot but his gums are all red so its only a matter of time till the other teeth come in.
He loves giving mommy and daddy kisses, ( its more like I'm going to suck and "bite" of your cheeks! But its super sweet.
He learned to give Hi-5's !!
He has learned the "If I through my toys on the floor mommy, daddy or grandma will pick it up over and over again, He loves that game!! Also he has learned that if he "coughs" (its a fake cough) he gets our attention!!
He is a cutie he has a fun personality and is a sweetheart boy!!

It's Official !!!

It's official Tate got his first tooth!!! After a couple weeks of whining and a lot of drooling Tate's first little tooth came in (bottom left side) , he is such a good baby he was a trooper didn't even cry he was just a little whiny and really quite. He normally is a "talker" but this last week he wasn't. No worries he is back to his "talkin' .
