Tate's 1st Birthday!!

My little guy is one year old. I cannot believe it!! We had a little party for him on Saturday he had so much fun!!
The past year has been so much work and fun, Tate is a blessing in our lives, Garrett and I love this little man so very much, we enjoy him to the fullest. being parents is not the easiest job but it's the most gratifying. I am so grateful that I was blessed with such an amazing family. Life couldn't be better!!

A lot of 1st's this week...

We had a ot of first time stuff happen this past week or so.

The best one is that I officially have a Toddler that's right my little guy started to take his first steps I'm so proud!! it started out just two steps at a time last Saturday but now he is up to about ten at a time I can't believe it!!! He still wobbles and falls on his bum most of the time.

We got him in his new car seat (facing forward) which kinda scares me but he loves it!!

Oh and we got his first hair cut, his hair was so long and he started getting really frustrated because it started falling on his forehead and in his ears, HA HA!! We took him to this place called COOKIE CUTTERS and he got to sit in a little car that the horn actually honked he loved it!!, it was great he did awesome didn't even cry. He didn't like the buzzer by his ears I think because it tickled.

Everyday he learns something new , it's so amazing to see him grow. I love this little guy so much!!!

After his hair cut he got a balloon, as you can see by his face he loved his balloon.

He woke up from his morning nap,I went to get him and this is what I found!! He took his pants off!! STINKER!


We put a 30 gallon container at the bottom of the stairs to keep him from crawling up. Well as you can see he found out that he can go over it.


In his new car seat, he is so cute he does car noises every time we go out.



I ask him to "call" daddy so he picks up my phone puts it by his ear and says( in baby talk of coarse) HELLO!!

11 Months!!

My little guy is 11 months old!!! The last year has gone by so fast, I can't believe that next month is Tate's 1st Birthday!! I'm excited but also a Little sad they grow up way to fast, that's why I'm just enjoying the now and all the silly and wonderful things he does because I know he will grow out of it soon.

It's awesome to see his personality come out. He does the Oh O!! games I guess its fun to see mommy pick up the bowl from the floor over and over again. He has learned to "melt" when he doesn't get his way ( MELT= this is when you chid starts "melting" out of your arms to the floor and fake crys).
Oh and he grinds his teeth it drives me crazy!! He has 7 teeth going on 9 maybe 10 those are still working their way out, so the drooling is constent.
Oh and yes, he has learned to scream that very high pitched scream that makes your ears ring.
It's been so much fun and he has been keeping me really busy!! I love it, I love being a mommy!!

He loves to walk around with his walker , It's so cute he looks like a little old man walking.


In his car seat (which is way too small for him but we are holding out to put him in his new forward facing car seat). Anyway he is so cute making "raspberries" and every time we get in the car he starts making car noises "brmmmm" "Brmmmm". Don't mind the crumbs on this child he had just had a very yummy cookie!!

Getting into stuff he has no business touching, the stove was child proof!!!


Everyday he has to take out all our DVDs and put them back in again, the cute thing is he looks at each of them almost like he is studying them!!


We house sat for my sister-in-law and this is what I found he took all his clean clothes out of his bags, Naughty, Naughty!!

So since we have been giving him "table food" or as we call it "big people food" he has decided he does not want baby food anymore, that's right every time I try to feed him any kind of baby food he spits it right out, Stinker!!!
Anyway he has become the biggest "MUCHER" we cannot be eating anything around this kid he will come up to us and either just stare at you or open his mouth or make as much noise as possible until you give him some food!!




Laundry basket "Super Baby Car", Garrett will tug Tate around in the laundry basket and make car noises, it so cute!! He loves it!!


He love looking at his animal book, and now he can make the animal noises when he sees them.


We have this gate blocking the laundry room, I was doing laundry and when I turned around this is what I found. My baby boy at the gate with his toy keys in his mouth, kinda of reminded me of the dog in Pirates of the Caribbean.

I can't keep up!

Life is busy right now but I love every minute of it, Tate is so mobile. He is 10 months old I can't beleive that he will be 1 year old in two months, time has gone by so fast.
He gets into everything, loves going up the stairs and is determined to get up on the couch( its only a matter of time). He opens drawers and doors, when I'm folding laundry he takes clothing out of the basket, he likes climing over everything! and absolutly loves the dvd/VCR and the directv box because of the buttons, he gets the remotes and starts pushing every button possible he actually got our Tivo to record a whole bunch of stuff! And he loves to "walk" when we hold his hands, I have a feeling once he learns to walk theres no stopping him.
And as always he is still a talker, yap yap yap all day long. Loves laughing with his Daddy they make each other laugh.
I'm looking forward to spring and summer and do lots of fun stuff.

Mr. Tate is 9 months old!!

I can't beleive my baby is 9 months old.
He is such a blessing in our lives. I love watching him learn and grow every day.

We went for his 9 month check up and he is doing great!!

His stats:

Height= 30 1/4 inches long. 91%
Weight= 21 Lbs. 50%

I'm pretty sure all 9 month olds can do these things but for me he is a little geniouse and everything he does is awesome.

Learned to sit up all by himself.
He is crawling all over the place ( I can't keep up).
Loves to be chased he takes off and giggles.
Wants to get under the couch and our bed.
loves little forts, he has a tunnel that he loves to sit in and just play but it's getting small.
Loves to open drawers and cupards and take everything out.
Is very curiouse about the stairs (going up!) and tries to pull himself up on the first step.
Feeds himself cheerios, snack,wants to grab the spoon and be a big boy.
Wants to eat what ever mommy and daddy are eating (he's a little pig!!).
Is imitating sounds that we make, he humms and "sings".
learned to make a smaking sound with his mouth.
Laughs when people around him laughs.
Says" Mama " and "Dada".
Learned to make a funny face from daddy.
Loves bath time and has learned to splash. (loves splashing).
Learned to shake his head for "NO", does it when he doesn't want to go to sleep or he is done eating.
learned what the doggie says: "woof woof" but he says "Oof Oof"
Has a very fake cry when he wants something.
Does his "SUPER-COOL-TRICK" when he wants attention. specially in church.
Loves to "wrestle with daddy" and makes the same noise daddy does when wrestling.

There's so many more things he does, it seams that everyday he learns something new and I am truelly blessed to be able to be with him everyday. Life is great I love being a mommy and even when I put him to sleep I miss him. I absolutly have the best husband in the world! I love watching him play with our baby boy he is a wonderful daddy, life couldn't get better!!
